Photos of Brooklyn Storefronts

Another great example of photographing-as-collecting, reported by the New York Times.

This one is a set of photographs of independently-owned small businesses in Brooklyn. The straight-on, color photos document the highly personal, idiosyncratic look of these establishments.

The photographer’s name is Paul Lacy and his book is titled simply Brooklyn Storefronts.
